THREE WISE BUDDHA CANDLES

£20.00

Set of three scented Happy Buddha candles.  See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil

Ho Tai  as he is called in Chinese is often confused with the historical Buddha,  infact he was a revered Chinese monk named Budaishi who was famous for his Buddhist sermons and for his bag full of sweets that he would bring to the children in order to reward them for studying the Dharma (the teachings and doctrines of the Buddha).  He is said to have lived over a thousand years ago and has been incorporated into Shinto Buddhism in japan and is seen as one of the seven Gods of good fortune, an incarnation of Maitreya (the future Buddha)

Ho Tai is important in the practice of Feng Shui and is thought to direct positive energy flow, hence businesses will normally display him to improve sales and usher in good fortune.
