Handmade square scented Buddha candle
The depiction of this seated Buddha with his right hand raised (Abhaya mudra) has two common meanings the first is protection as his raised hand represents a shield. The second is fearlessness and it shows the stage of the Buddha’s life immediately after achieving enlightenment. Both of these are closely related as one who is receiving protection will be less fearful.
